Beacon 50 MHz

Due to the introduction of the Digital mode called FT8 which has taken up residence on 50.313 MHz we have taken the VK5RBV beacon on 50.315 off the air completely. 

It may return on a new frequency during late 2018 – Peter, vk5pj

 

A propogation beacon is running on 50.315 MHz from the Mount Kitchener site. This beacon runs continuoisly at 15 watts into a single Halo antenna (Omni horizontal polarisation), the ID is on-off keying morse. Locator for the beacon is PF95MK02 (Mt Kitchener)
